A free platform with no hidden fees

Billettera is a ticketing platform that is entirely free for the organizer: no subscription, no commission on your revenue, no surcharge when you enable a feature. The only platform fees that exist are paid by the buyer on top of the ticket price. Stripe payment fees apply to the transaction and are deducted from the sales proceeds.

Step 1

Estimate your ticketing revenue

Adjust the four parameters below; results update instantly. You will see exactly how much your ticketing actually earns you after Stripe payment fees are deducted.

The fixed Stripe fee (€0.25) applies per transaction, not per ticket. The more tickets per transaction, the more this fee gets diluted.

Stripe payment fees are deducted automatically from the sales proceeds. Billettera charges no commission on your revenue: the platform fees are paid by the buyer on top of the ticket price.

Your estimated ticketing profit

Would you like to calculate your event's net profitability?

The amount above is what Billettera pays you after Stripe payment fees are deducted. It does not yet factor in your event's expenses (venue, artists, technical, misc). Enter them in the next step to find your final net profit and the number of tickets you need to sell to break even.

Frequently asked questions about fees

Yes. For the organizer there is no subscription, no commission on revenue, no per-feature fee. Platform fees do exist, but they are paid by the buyer on top of the ticket price and are clearly displayed before payment. Stripe payment fees (1.5% + €0.25 per transaction) apply to the transaction and are deducted automatically from the sales proceeds.
The fixed Stripe fee of €0.25 applies per transaction, not per ticket. If a buyer purchases 2 tickets in a single transaction, the €0.25 is only counted once. The more tickets per transaction, the lower the overall fee percentage.
Yes. By default, platform fees are paid by the buyer on top of the ticket price (recommended mode). If you prefer to show an all-inclusive price to the buyer, you may choose to absorb the platform fees: they are then deducted from the sales proceeds, just like Stripe payment fees. For reference, the platform fees amount to 2% of the basket + €0.30 per transaction for a basket between €5 and €100. Example: for a €30 ticket, the fees come to €0.90.
Break-even = total event costs ÷ average ticket price. It is the minimum number of tickets to sell to cover your expenses (venue, artists, technical, misc). Beyond that, every ticket sold is net profit.
